Anti-Oppression & Caregiving Workshop

Service Description

This training will be focused on the anti-racism and anti-oppression work that is central to PAAL's advocacy and work with caregivers. We will discuss PAAL policy, how to hold a space focused on safety and inclusion for all, and specific commitments we make when taking on the role of community advocate. Finally, the training will provide tools and practices for communication, support and elevating the needs and voices of caregivers to create a more humane and equitable working environment for all. This is a 2.5 hour virtual training and contains breaks __________________ PAAL recommends engaging in Compassion Training first and then engaging in Anti-Oppression & Caregiving as a next step to deep dive.
