FIRST NATIONAL SUMMIT ON PARENT AND CAREGIVER SUPPORT IN THE PERFORMING ARTS || CHANGING THE SPACE - MAKING A FAMILY-FRIENDLY NATIONAL EVENT SPACE:
PAAL partnered with Broadway Babysitters, on-site care for theatres and individuals
Childcare was provided FREE For all PAAL Summit attendees and participants.
Sponsored by New 42 Studios
At registration, registrants could request childcare, including a breastfeeding/pumping room they have on the space and transforming a small space into an infant care room.
With PAAL and Broadway Babysitters partnership, both spaces were transformed to hold adults and children in safe, inclusive, and compassionate ways:

Both Public Theatre and ART/NY Space were transformed by creating barriers, providing activities, and responsible caregivers.

Broadway Babysitters Caregivers Prepare the space and review protocol for the PAAL Summit to care for children on-site while performing arts leaders engage on the topic of parent-support.

Vetted Broadway Babysitter Caregivers meet parents at front desk where parent and child are checked in and escorted to the child-designated space.

Parents attend sessions and are also welcome to bring their children/breastfeed/pump in the space, BBS caregivers are also on-hand to watch them on-site so parents can participate fully in all sessions.

The doctors providing miscarriage treatment in London at this clinic were exceptional. They carefully explained every investigation, discussed all available treatment options, and ensured I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The level of care and compassion I received was truly outstanding.
