About The Event

Join PAAL for a peer-to-peer conversation surrounding pregnancy and infant loss. This group is a sacred, safe place to share experiences, ask questions, hear stories, and offer support to other parent artists who have experienced spontaneous abortion, ending a wanted/unwanted pregnancy, stillbirth, SIDS, or burying an infant. There is no correct way to mourn the loss of what is, was, or could have been. We welcome all stories and experiences, with only love, compassion and empathy. All caregivers, spouses, partners are welcome, regardless of race, religion, culture, politics- this grief is too heavy to bear alone.

Because this a comfortable space surrounding an uncomfortable topic, please be aware that there may be children/family noise in the spaces of some of our participants.

This conversation will be moderated by a PAAL representative who shares in this experience. This community will meet on the last Monday of the month at 8:00 PM EST. Come and go as your schedule allows. We welcome all caregiving responsibilities and realities in the background or foreground of any meetups, phone calls, and exchanges and embrace your life in our pursuit of productive and supportive practices.

PAAL is a transgender and non-binary affirming space. All language that includes but is not limited to "mother" "parent" "dad" "caregiver," etc applies to any individual who identifies with the term. PAAL commits to anti-racist roots in our structures, practices, policies, principles, and producing.
