About The Event

A BIPOC Mama-led zoom community for BIPOC* Mamas** in the performing arts and media. Feel free to invite other BIPOC mamas you know to the group so they can RSVP here and receive the link! It's a free, community-based space built for connection. *PAAL is committed to anti-racism in every action, space, and interaction. Please only RSVP to this event if you identify as a BIPOC Mama. We will be sharing a zoom community for Black Mamas and Indigenous Mamas, specifically, soon as well. **PAAL is a trans and non-binary affirming organization. The term "mama" and any derivative is used for any and all who identify with the term in their parenting/caregiving.

With conversations on racial justice, returning to school, support working remotely, invisible labor, we're creating digital spaces for parents and caregivers of every discipline, department, and location to find each other, connect, and engage with others who understand the dynamics and exponential change of navigating this unprecedented time as a parent and caregiver.

This space is open invitation! Please only attend if you are a parent or a caregiver. If you are an ally hoping to find better ways to support caregivers, please connect with us at community@paaltheatre dot com.

Before every open zoom call, there will be sacred affinity spaces on zoom, for BIPOC Mamas, Black Mamas, BIPOC Fathers, Single Parents, Parents With or Have Children With Disabilities, etc. Be sure to check the events calendar to engage in these spaces. *PAAL is committed to anti-racism in every action, space, and interaction. **PAAL is a trans and non-binary affirming organization. The term "mama" and any derivative is used for any and all who identify with the term in their parenting/caregiving.
